In this advanced metal clay fabrication module you will learn:
This short course is a module of the JDMIS Advanced Certificate in Jewellery Fabrication using Metal Clay. For information about how this course fits into a complete jewellery education, visit our Continuing Education Roadmap
  • The vast range of possibilities available when selecting textures for your designs, from paper and material to texture sheets which can be purchased ready made.
  • How to create rubber moulds from “objects trouve” or things you love.
  • How to reproduce the same pieces using moulds, and howto alter and vary a design many times over.
  • Proper usage and storage or both texture sheets and rubber moulds.

* This program includes all materials needed. Students may make use of classroom equipment during class and practice sessions.

This advanced module has prerequisites - it is only open to graduates having completed the Foundation Certificate in Jewellery Fabrication using Metal Clay.
