Discover the added possibilities when working with a Metal Clay which dries 4 times slower than the average. See what you can produce and learn a new technique of extruding this clay type from a syringe. Pearl setting is included to produce elegant designs.
You will learn:
This short course is a module of the JDMIS Foundation Certificate in Jewellery Fabrication using Metal Clay. For information about how this course fits into a complete jewellery education, visit our Continuing Education Roadmap
  • The difference between the normal Metal Clay and the Slow dry type;
  • Fun textures and shapes from extruding technique;
  • Incorporation of wire with Metal clay design;
  • Considerations and possibilities for Pearl setting.
