In this advanced metal clay fabrication module you will learn:
This short course is a module of the JDMIS Advanced Certificate in Jewellery Fabrication using Metal Clay. For information about how this course fits into a complete jewellery education, visit our Continuing Education Roadmap
  • With a beautiful glass centrepiece developed in the Glass Fusing class learn how to incorporate glass with Silver Metal Clay.
  • Understand the setting possibilities when combining glass and silver.
  • Develop a design around a glass piece and fire the glass and silver together.
  • Effectively finish pieces without damaging the embedded glass.

* This program includes all materials needed. Students may make use of classroom equipment during class and practice sessions.

This advanced module has prerequisites - it is only open to graduates having completed the Foundation Certificate in Jewellery Fabrication using Metal Clay.
